Less than three years later, BTS has generated significant revenue and customer growth, has over 60 employees, and three offices in the Washington, DC area. Sean’s direction to his executive team is to always stay product focused and value driven. Sean is a unique blend of leader, warfighter, strategist, inventor, and technologist. His combat experience in Afghanistan and Iraq as an intelligence officer has given him the perspective needed to drive product development towards helping the conflicts of today and tomorrow. A recognized expert in National Security, Sean has invented a variety of solutions that have revolutionized intelligence collection, analysis and dissemination. One of the keys to the success of BTS is Mr. Lane’s ability to adapt emerging commercial technology for use in cutting edge national defense applications. Sean holds a B.A. in Political Science with an emphasis on Aerospace Studies from Miami University. ![]() | Craig helped found BTS and brings to BTS a career of leadership in both the military and the Intelligence Community. A graduate of West Point, Craig first served in the tactical Army as an Armor Officer and then served primarily in the Intelligence Community as a Military Intelligence Officer. Craig’s last military assignment was at the National Security Agency at Ft. Meade, MD, where he was the Deputy Chief of Expeditionary Cryptology for the Army Cryptologic Office. Prior to joining the Army Cryptologic Office in 2008, Craig was the Operations Officer for the Army’s largest Military Intelligence Brigade with nearly 2000 people serving in 27 locations across the United States and five countries, to include Iraq and Afghanistan. Craig deployed to Afghanistan with Special Operations Command in 2006-2007 where he earned the Bronze Star. From 2003-2005, Craig taught on the faculty at West Point as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Sciences. In the late 1990s, Craig commanded the Army’s first-ever Computer Network Operations Company which has since grown to become the Army Network Warfare Battalion. Craig is a Distinguished Graduate of West Point and a graduate of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences where he earned his M.A., M.Phil, and Ph.D. in Econometrics and Political Science. He is a Truman Scholar, a U.S.-Italy Young Leader, and a Term Member with the Council on Foreign Relations.

![]() | Chris came to BTS with over 20 years of finance and corporate development experience in telecommunications, government contracting and satellite communications firms. He has been directly involved in raising over $400 million in debt and equity capital for growth companies, as well as completing over two dozen acquisitions and divestitures with aggregate consideration in excess of $5 billion.

![]() | Alex leads technology development at BTS and manages the growing engineering division. With over 8 years of experience within the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community, Alex has developed and deployed many cutting edge technical solutions that are being used to support intelligence and military operations overseas. Alex has extensive computer engineering and tactical operations experience with over two years deployed OCONUS. Before joining the BTS team, Alex served as a Field Operations Officer, providing a quick reaction capability through the Special Deployment Division within DoD.

![]() | Brian joined BTS after completing over 20 years of service with the U.S., Military. During his career, Brian served as a Military Intelligence Officer specializing in the Signals Intelligence field with key assignments at the National Security Agency and the Army’s Intelligence and Security Command headquarters. In the fall of 2007, Poe was named the Signals Intelligence Advisor for the XVIIIth Airborne Corps and deployed to Iraq in this capacity from December 2007 to February 2009. In addition to his Signals Intelligence background, Brian also served a tour as an Armor officer in Germany, multiple assignments as an all-source intelligence officer, and a tour as an Instructor and Assistant Professor of French at West Point. Brian graduated from the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York, in 1990 with a B.S. in French. He also earned a Master of Arts in French Language and Literature from the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland, in 2000.

![]() | Stu brings vast experience to the Engineering Division. With 18 years in computer programming and 12 years in the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community, Stu excels at transforming technical solutions from concept to reality. After graduating from the United States Naval Academy, Stu served as a Naval Information Warfare Officer with two years forward deployed in the Global War Against Terrorism. After transferring to the civilian sector, Stu specialized in creating algorithms to automatically build virtual machines from the ground up. Stu has a strong background in lifecycle management of deployed systems and focuses on making all of BTS’s products easy to use from installation through years of upgrades. With his unique background, Stu has the military perspective, training, and technical aptitude to create profoundly relevant solutions for today’s warfighter.
